Michael founded Splitero to help homeowners better their lives by giving them access to their home equity. He is a consumer-focused executive with a passion for building businesses that do the right things for homeowners.
Before Splitero, Michael served as a Vice President at Sundae. As part of the founding team, he has played an integral role in building Sundae’s marketplace serving homeowners looking to sell their homes off-market in as-is condition.
Previously, Michael was part of the initial team at LendingHome, leading the sales org. While at LendingHome, Michael also owned three HomeVestors Franchises in Southern California and Oregon. Throughout his career, he has acquired more than 1,000 homes and originated more than $250 million in business purpose investment loans.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the University of St. Thomas.
COO & Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding Splitero, David’s career focused on real estate investment and entrepreneurship - most notably as Founder of Pacific Pines Real Estate, a brokerage specializing in residential investment and development.
Previously, David was COO of Apollo Realty Investments and Vice President of Upward Trend, leading Southern California real estate investment firms. David spearheaded over $350,000,000 in single-family acquisitions and sales in these roles.
David earned an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a BA in Economics from The University of Arizona.
VP Capital Markets
Nicholas Ingram is an industry leader in Home Equity Investments (HEIs), specializing in Capital Markets. He pioneered the first-ever HEI securitization and non-recourse asset-based warehouse line and is presently a founding member of Splitero, bringing HEIs mass-market.
Prior to Splitero, Nicholas was an early employee at Point, where he led the investor, business operations, servicing, and vendor teams, including credit and pricing. He helped grow and scale Point to #1 in HEIs with $350M+ in annualized originations during his tenure.
Previously, Nicholas was the CEO of Isatus Investments, worked in PwC’s Real Estate Advisory division, and at a South African Investment Bank, Investec, accumulating $300M+ in real estate transaction experience.
Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Psychology and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Management from the University of Sydney.
VP Product & Engineering
Corey is a seasoned technology leader with over a decade of experience in e-commerce, marketing, and consulting. With passions for improving user experience, solving unique challenges with technology, and mentoring and growing technology teams, Corey has worked across industries to advance the technical capabilities of brands.
With a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media Design and Development, Corey loves the beauty of a simple UI as much as the code behind it. Being able to mentor and provide guidance for development teams ties his many passions together to be able to deliver great work while pushing for the next lightbulb moment. He has worked with Fidelity Investments, The Boston Red Sox, Dodge, TaylorMade, and other industry-leading brands to innovate and drive business strategy with proven and cutting edge technologies alike.
Corey is a Northeast native living in San Diego. When not working with technology, Corey enjoys playing disc golf with his girlfriend and their dog Bruin as well as working on his saltwater reef aquarium. Holding a private pilot’s license, you can also find him flying around southern California in his free time.
VP Engineering
Prior to joining Splitero, David was a founding member of the engineering and Sr. Directors of Engineering at Sundae. As the first leadership hire in the engineering org David played an integral part in putting scalable infrastructure into place. David led their internal facing team and played a major part in the Sundae Marketplace, serving homeowners looking to sell their homes off-market in as-is condition.
David has an overwhelming passion for building and scalings systems spending most of his free time strategizing on how to optimize and proactively strategize for our anticipated scale.
He grew up in Southern California graduating from CSU Dominguez Hills where he received a BS in Information Systems. In his free time he enjoys flying helicopters down the coast, watching or participating in any form of racing and is an avid soccer and basketball fan.
Director of Business Operations
Ben is a Prop tech Veteran and residential Real Estate expert. He began his career in the residential redevelopment sector, where he oversaw and coordinated the acquisition, development, and resale of over 2,000 properties on the west coast.
Ben worked for leading investors in the space, including PGI Investments and Wedgwood. He then went on to found GFR Properties. Ben transitioned into the Prop Tech space and joined Sundae at a very early stage, where he built out the Market Expert role, launched the first four markets, and worked across departments on Sales, Operations, and new market and product launch.
Ben graduated from The University of California Berkeley, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Development and Sustainability. Ben was born and raised in San Diego. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors with friends and family while surfing, hiking, camping, and exploring California and the rest of the world.
Director of Operations
Rozlyn began her real estate career in 2012 as a residential mortgage closing officer. After gaining additional experience in commercial real estate, Rozlyn joined Home Partners of America, focusing on single-family residential acquisitions.
During her time at Home Partners of America, she built different facets of the acquisitions process, including Applications, Underwriting, Transactions, Leasing, and HOA, before becoming the Director of Acquisitions. During her management tenure, she oversaw the acquisition of approximately 11,600 homes valued at over $4 billion. Blackstone acquired the company in 2021.
Rozlyn attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, earning her Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration. Rozlyn enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family in her free time.
Director of Capital Markets
Stephanie began her career at PIMCO in the Client Management group servicing Endowment and Foundation clients with multi-billion dollar fixed income and alternatives portfolios.
Before joining Splitero, Stephanie was with PeerStreet, a leading marketplace for real-estate debt. During her tenure, she served as the Director of Capital Markets and the Senior Director of Marketplace Strategy. She was responsible for institutional client servicing and oversaw pricing and allocation of the PeerStreet loan portfolio, totaling over $4 billion 12,000 loans.
Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
Director of Servicing & Post Closing
Chamone comes to Splitero with a great depth of servicing knowledge. She brings with her a passion for process improvement and exceptional customer experience.
Chamone started her journey in the start-up space learning about servicing multiple products at SoFi. She then transitioned into servicing specifically for the HEI product at Point. While at Point, Chamone led the way in creating servicing policies and procedures that would be the framework for how all future HEI's are serviced.
When she isn't working Chamone loves to eat and try new restaurants. She enjoys traveling, photography, and being outside in the sun.

Chris Killens is the VP of Legal and Compliance at Splitero. Prior to joining Splitero, Chris served as Associate General Counsel at Better, one of the fastest home ownership platforms in the US, where he helped build out the company’s legal and compliance functions and chaired the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. Before Better, Chris was Senior Legal Counsel at Partnerize, a leading partnership SaaS provider, where he oversaw the US and APAC legal functions from 2017-2019 and General Counsel at Ethika, a high-growth lifestyle and apparel brand, from 2015-2017. Prior to Ethika, he was a lawyer with McGuireWoods, an AmLaw 100 firm, where he served as counsel to a variety of public and start up companies in a variety of sector
